Tamir Sher
Tamir Sher, born in 1966, is an Israeli artist, living and working in Tel Aviv. Sher has been engaged in photography his entire life, and has in his possession pictures he took and developed from as early as the age of eight. Sher’s works have been exhibited in various group and solo exhibitions. Among his solo exhibitions are: “After Mars”, at The Point of View Gallery, NY, in 2008, "Good News", at The D&A Gallery, Tel Aviv in 2008, "Postcards from Mars", at The Gal-On Gallery, Tel Aviv, in 2007, and “Openings”, at The Herzliya Museum, Israel, in 2001. Venues of group exhibitions Sher participated in include: The Tel Aviv Museum, The Jerusalem Artist House, The Ashdod Museum, and The American University in Washington D.C. Sher teaches photography and gives lectures at the Camera Obscura School of Art in Tel Aviv.
