In this work the rabbits are held in a state of coherence and stagnation. This is a situation defined by Georges Sifianos as "suspended animation" - a condition in which a living creature remains in a static position, not revealing its inborn nature. The two rabbits serve as a platform for a continuous play of dismantling and assembling graphic symbols. The rabbit’s role, as an adorable and cute figure in contemporary culture, allows me to manipulate it. In this work I do so while conforming to the taboo of maintaining the body as a whole, in accordance with traditional Disney animation.
